As announced, our university will transition to hybrid learning mode starting the 31st of January until the 7th of February.
We have attended a meeting with AUI executives in order to provide our input, our recommendation proposed to move straight to face-to-face classes and lighten sanitary restrictions, however, the decision taken was for the safer scenario to take place.
People that are tested positive to Covid-19 should send an E-mail to the VPAA along with proof in order to remain online for a short period of time after the 7th, until tested negative.
As for Fall 2021 exchange students that are yet to return to Moroccan grounds, we advise you to prepare flights as soon as possible. However, you can also request to stay online after the 7th until present here in Ifrane.
In addition, tables will be put in front of building 3 as well as Proxirest and students will have the choice to eat their meals on the spot or take them to go instead of exclusively takeaway meals. However, students who use the tables and chairs for socializing will have to abide by Covid-19 sanitary rules, 4 per table maximum, mask wearing, distancing etc…
We continue to discuss the circumstances in which accessing and leaving campus will operate and more information will be provided in a timely manner.
We will continue to represent the student voice during meetings with executives as we make sure that everything suits our community.
